Sophie The Therapy Dog
Sophie is a trained therapy dog that enjoys belly rubs, playing fetch, riding in the car, and being the center of attention! Sophie was trained as a therapy dog through Lutheran Hospital's Pet Therapy program in 2023 and has experience interacting with older adults, including those living with dementia, as well as visiting intensive care units, trauma units, and surgical units. Her calm demeanor facilitates calming the central nervous system and creating moments of joy for everyone she interacts with. Sophie would love to be a part of meaningful interactions with your loved one who is living with dementia.
